Unfortunately, they’re having problems producing this one. It seems they created a huge batch tainted by randomly distributed defective ones. Now they have a monumental sorting task on their hands to separate the wheat from the chaff. Perhaps a different approach would work better the next time. I have an idea. We all know that private businesses produce better products more efficiently than the government does. Why not just contract with the criminal counterfeiters outside the government to print the bills for them?
The Founding Fathers had no problem identifying a moral standard:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. (Declaration of Independence of the United States)
Sadly, this month the “lame duck” Congress passed a law to give homosexuals full sanction in the military. Despite the fact that our Creator gave us specific direction to the contrary, the military will dilute its moral stature and structure by adding another layer of confusion to an organization once steeped in pride and honor.
Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you: (Leviticus 18:22–24)
To what cause can we attribute this sudden rapid-fire ability of Congress to “get things done.” Could it be the great skill of President Obama in brokering difficult deals? Could it be a strong love of country and unselfish statesmanship of our congressmen? Could it be true remorse and reform as they witnessed the tidal wave of discontent with this congress as evidenced by the election landslide and recent polls? Of course not! We have a very simple explanation for this avalanche of legislation clearly opposed by the majority of voters. These cowards refused to register their votes on these issues until after the elections passed. That way, they could dodge accountability for unpopular votes they planned to make.
Earlier this year, the Senate of this same congress confirmed Barack Obama’s second Supreme Court appointee who unbelievably never served as a judge. During her confirmation hearings, Elena Kagan refused to acknowledge our fundamental rights as enumerated in the Declaration of Independence. On that basis, we can brand this activist appointee as supremely unqualified.
While we’re on the subject of crises, let us review the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) latest outrageous invasion into personal privacy. Janet Nopolitano, the head of the Department of Homeland Security, seems to have equal disdain for personal liberty and the rule of law as did the past Attorney General, Janet Reno of Waco Massacre fame. Now when the general public wishes to fly a commercial flight, not only will their baggage and carry-on luggage receive intense examination, not only must they empty pockets and partially undress, not only will they pass through a metal detector, but now they must submit to either a highly invasive and hazardous full body x-ray or a full-body pat-down. These are regular, law-abiding citizens suffering this abuse.
As a reminder, let’s review the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
The TSA asserts that they may violate this right according to a Ninth Circuit Court ruling. Of course, the Ninth Circuit Court has no authority to override the Constitution.
If we dare consider this travesty a bit more, we might wonder why the TSA and the Department of Homeland Security even exist? The answer we usually hear goes something like, “We need these precautions to assure the safety of passengers and to prevent something like 9/11 from happening in the future.” You may find it interesting that these onerous screenings apply only to large commercial passenger airline flights but do not apply to the more numerous private air flights, general aviation, cargo, etc. Yet somehow, these majority flights remain safe without gestapo screening. The reasonable solution to this issue would be to simply allow the commercial airlines themselves to secure their flights in the most effective manner and get the Federal Government out of this domain.
Finally, we cannot forget the phony global warming crisis. As regions of the world this year face record cold snaps and talk begins of a new ice age, the message of the global warming crowd began losing steam. And speaking of steam, we know that water in the atmosphere accounts for ten times the greenhouse effect as does carbon dioxide. Undeterred, these prevaricators know a useful lie when they see one. Just this past November, Ottmar Edenhofer, co-chair of the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s Working Group III on Mitigation of Climate Change admitted their primary goal is wealth redistribution. That goal supercedes reason and justifies junk science. The mantra thus concocted has morphed to climate change.
His promises of a new birth of a thriving and vital economy ring pretty hollow these days as people lose their jobs, their homes, and their self-respect. His solution to the unemployment problem is to pay people to remain unemployed with perpetual extensions to unemployment compensation. Alarmingly high and persistent baseline unemployment statistics continue to understate the real situation. We need look no further than the unsubstantiated birth/death ratio, seasonal adjustments, and monthly revisions used to pad these statistics to know their counterfeit basis. The advertised figure U3 conveniently excludes the discouraged and underemployed. To get a better picture we must look at U6 and there discover a number a bit closer to reality. But even that figure exists in fantsy land because it fails to account for the grotesque government stimulus spending which artificially pads employment until that well runs out—making the resulting jobs picture even more bleak.

They then start to nationalise everything, and people just do not like more and more nationalisation, and they're now trying to control everything by other means. Most people would think that Newt Gingrich supports the cause of limited government, but a closer look reveals that when it matters, he sides instead with the enemy. A member of the elitist Council on Foreign Relations, he fought mightily for the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade/World Trade Organization (GATT/WTO)—one of the cornerstones used to weaken the standing of the economy of the United States in the world. He advocates consistently for the one world government and not surprisingly, strongly supports the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
While Sarah Palin stays in the spotlight, she too consistently comes up short. Beyond all of her cutesy, folksy charm (wearing very thin at this point), Mrs. Palin has proven herself first and foremost an opportunist and a politician. She will toe the party line, support Republicans in Name Only (RINOs), and compromise her dignity to make a buck, sell a book, or get elected. Such is the way of the typical politician. And speaking of compromise of dignity, let us not forget that she shamelessly appeared on The Oprah Show and even on Saturday Night Live. While her stands against abortion, for traditional marriage, and for portions of the Bill of Rights commend her, regrettably her bent to compromise principles betrays her.
If you look up the term RINO in the dictionary, you’ll see John McCain’s picture there. Let us not forget, this same Sarah Palin supported Senator John McCain, in his recent imperiled Senate reelection bid. Given his leadership support of the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) and his utterly inept presidential campaign, the Senate tenure of this career politician rightfully should have ended this year.
John Boehner certainly fools many with his high marks from conservative vote rating organizations. The funny thing is, Mr. Boehner also voted for TARP. That vote serves as a litmus test as few others have in recent times. It took character and courage to stand firm with the people and against the political pressure wielded by the banking cartel. Mr. Boehner buckled under the pressure. Yet, so-called conservatives who interview him fail to call him to account for this.
Conservative talk radio has led America down the garden path one time too many. These influential, self-proclaimed messengers of liberty doggedly reminded America to have faith in George Bush and his neoconservative Republican majority in Congress. They even supported the John McCain presidential candidacy as “the best alternative.” Now that their dictates have proven wrong and even more unpopular, they have attempted to rewrite history and distance themselves from the neocons that they previously supported. Be on the lookout though. These so-called conservative talk show shills will show their stripes as they work overtime hawking Palin and others like her as the great hope for America in 2012. They consistently avoid tough questions for interviews with these types while criticizing, discrediting, marginalizing, or ignoring the views and actions of true patriots.
Thankfully, glimmers of hope dance upon the horizon. Statesmen like Ron Paul, Rand Paul, and Mike Pence stand boldly for principle rather than for themselves. The Tea Party movement and the Campaign for Liberty too seek to push aside politicians and political parties and replace them with people of character and integrity. But the Republican and Democrat parties with the backing of corporate and mega-bank cartels stubbornly conspire together to continue the charade and maintain the stranglehold on the power that they posses.
The Ultimate Counterfeit
And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. (Revelation 6:2)
Entering the scene as a conquering hero, this man will rule and conquer by brokering a seven year peace covenant (Daniel 9:27) and reigning for three and one half years (Daniel 7:25; Revelation 13:5). His dominion will encompass the entire world (Daniel 7:23; Revelation 13:7). He will captivate the people with his masterful orations (Daniel 7:8; Revelation 13:5), change the calendar and laws (Daniel 7:25), and be worshiped around the globe (Revelation 13:4, 8).
While he will win fame and glory through his charm and power, before long, his dark side will emerge. He will defy the Most High God (Daniel 7:25; 11:36; Revelation 13:6). He will wear down God’s people and overcome them (Daniel 7:21, 25). Willful, unrestrained, and narcissistic (Daniel 11:36–37), he will demand Jewish temple sacrifices cease (Daniel 9:27).
…and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (II Thesalonians 2:3b–4)
Empowered by Satan (Revelation 12:9;13:2), having no regard for parents or women (Daniel 11:37), he lusts instead after military power (Daniel 11:38). After recovering from a mortal wound (Revelation 13:3), he will appear unstoppable (Revelation 13:4, 8), but his reign of terror will end abruptly.
The True Messiah
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. (Mark 13:26)
He will simply speak the word and cast the false Messiah into the Lake of Fire (Daniel 7:11; Revelation 11:2). Unlike the “man of sin,” Jesus Christ is the one the one who “knew no sin” (II Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15). In contrast to the “son of perdition,” the true Messiah is called the “Son of God” (Luke 1:35). Every knee will bow to Him and every tongue confess that He is Lord (Philippians 2:10–11), and He will reign, not for a few years, but forever (Daniel 7:27).
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever…. (Isaiah 9:7a)
